100% recycled aluminum

CBA | Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio has developed and patented a groundbreaking technology that enables the separation  and recycling of 100% of the aluminum found in multi-material packaging. Named ReAl  (Recycling Aluminum), the project has a financial partnership with Finep and introduces an  innovative solution for the packaging sector, opening new possibilities for the recycling chain. 

Memória Votorantim wins 2024 Aberje Award

Memória Votorantim was the national winner in the Organizational Memory category of the  Aberje Award, Brazil’s most prestigious organizational communication accolade. The  recognized case was “O Futuro Tem História – Memória Votorantim 20 Anos” (“The Future Has History – Memória Votorantim 20 Years”), a concept featured in internal and external  actions that strengthened emotional ties and engagement with the brand. The initiative  included a web series, Instagram posts, a new website, an institutional video with CEOs, and  a major event at the State. 

This recognition underscores Memória Votorantim’s commitment to using history and  knowledge as strategic tools to reinforce organizational culture, brand identity, and  reputation, inspiring Votorantim, its shareholder family, and its portfolio to continue shaping  their legacies for future generations.

Decarbonizing transportation

The fourth edition of the “Brasil Rumo à COP30” (“Brazil Towards COP30”) seminar series  highlighted the signing of a coalition to drive sustainable solutions and accelerate  transportation decarbonization in Brazil. Led by CEBDS, Grupo CCR and the National Observatory for Sustainable Mobility, with support from associations and private companies,  the initiative aims to collaborate with the government in setting decarbonization targets for  the 2025 Climate Plan, currently being developed by the Ministry of the Environment.
