Portfolio at COP29

The companies in our portfolio were present at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, alongside global  leaders to discuss actions to tackle climate challenges. David Canassa, director of Reservas Votorantim, and Luciano Alves, CEO of CBA | Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio, participated in discussions on the impact of the  carbon market, climate adaptation strategies, energy transition, and the importance of the  circular economy. Reservas Votorantim also took the opportunity to present the PES Carbonflor methodology, launched this year. The next edition of the COP will be held  in Brazil, hosted in Belém, Pará.

Rising new locations

Altre was highlighted in a report by the Valor Econômico newspaper about the availability of  alternative corporate addresses in São Paulo. The publication noted that secondary areas,  such as Vila Leopoldina, recorded higher gross office space absorption than primary regions  in the third quarter of this year. Haig Apovian, Altre’s executive investment director, explained  how the company’s land locations were crucial in meeting the needs of businesses requiring  easy access to São Paulo’s capital.
