Satellite monitoring

Auren is investing in satellite monitoring to combat forest fires in its operations at the Porto  Primavera Hydroelectric Plant. In partnership with Visiona Espacial, a joint venture between  Embraer and Telebras, the company implemented a tool that monitors 100% of its areas in  São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, helping identify fires in real time with updated images.  The monitoring center also uses publicly available satellite images from NASA, allowing for an  even faster response.
